I frantically raced,
But it caught up with me,
With a wry smile on its face,
Enjoying the fear in me...
I tried to be brave,
Yet started crying...
The jaws of dark,
Stood menacing and bold,
Slicing me with its look,
So severe and cold...
I tried to be brave,
Yet started crying...
I battled from its grasp,
But it held me even tight,
Begged for it to let me go,
But it wouldnt budge from its stance...
I tried to be brave,
Yet started crying...
Like a prisoner i was held,
Almost tortured to death,
Cried for my life,
When there came a ray of light...
I was released and relieved!
And yet... I didnt stop crying...!

Poetry I never try to relate with personal life, coz most of the times its imaginative, adventure and unrealistic... People know me as a cheerful person, but most of my poems are about pain, anguish and release. I use these feel in poems coz it gives nice edge to the poem :) well done Nami! wanna read a lot of your poems...

@Viji,Devka: I did my next posting and even published it but it came in different font style and colour so deleted it and am waiting for some of my lazy bum friends to help me re-solve it and there is nobody to help me :( !!! Will post it soon!!
